Esmé Belle

Esmé Belle, (Esmeralda Hernandez), is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Long Island, New York. Her work merges mundane moments captured from the countries she's traveled to, into surrealistic paintings, drawings, photography, film, animation, and ceramic sculptures.

Esmé has exhibited across New York, including the Student Art Show at Suffolk County Community College, Best of SUNY art exhibition (Albany, NY), and Abstract Arrangement Multi Media Showcase (Brooklyn, NY).

Esmé has also done over a dozen promotional short films for fashion, beauty, and perfume brands such as Gap, Versace, Prada Beauty, Givenchy, and Moschino. Her practice reflects a deep connection to her Salvadoran heritage and the everyday poetry found in domestic life, using art as a bridge between personal narrative and collective experience.
